PRIDE Program at Behavioral Health Associates serves as the area’s premier full-time emotional support program. Servicing students for a variety of reasons, the core of the program is founded on the following five components: Preparation, Recovery, Interaction, Development, and Education. By providing every student every opportunity to succeed, the PRIDE Program instills the skills and techniques necessary for an eventual transition back to their home district. Our goal at PRIDE is to put each student in a position to make decisions that yield the best possible outcome. We accomplish this by empowering students with the strategies and knowledge necessary to navigate challenges that may arise while in school, as well as in their personal lives.
In Addition to our therapeutic component, we also offer
the following services to students:
• Credit Recovery via eBridge Academy
• Diagnostic Tools for Education
• Career Employment Program
• Outpatient Medical Services
Group therapy is provided to students on a daily basis, as well as individual therapy sessions when necessary. Our therapy process is rooted in Restorative Practices, which strengthens relationships between individuals as well as social connections within communities. By falling back on the principles found within this discipline, students are presented with an opportunity to learn the strategies necessary to become more informed individuals.
