“What I like about BHA is that the company is wonderful to their employees and students. I truly feel the team at Valley Ridge is more like a family than co-workers. We all work together for one reason, and that is to give the students the support they need to succeed.”

Kim is responsible for the care and safety of all staff and students at Valley Ridge Academy. She has been with the company since 2003 and started as an Instructional Assistant. Kim was promoted to the Student Service Coordinator position in 2009 and became the Director of Valley Ridge in 2018.

Valley Ridge Academy was previously called BHA Academy but underwent a name change for the new 2020 school year. Despite those changes, the school continues to focus on the students and their needs to make sure they achieve the best outcome possible. Kim’s goal for the school and students is to achieve a program that is exactly like an elementary school but in a smaller setting where they can give individualized attention where the students need it the most.

Kim went to Lehighton Area High School, and received a Specialized Degree in Graphic Design, AAS in Elementary Education, BAS in Organizational Psychology and her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources and Healthcare. She previously worked for Bethesda Day Treatment, and before that worked for Brown, Brown, Solt & Ferretti attorneys at law.
